JASPER

You can see the other teams, but there is an invisible barrier preventing you from hearing them. You can assume that they can't hear you, either. There is a hefty serving of sweet wine and liquor, should you choose it. With a loaf of bread that you can slice. Nimue is in the center of the formation of teams, and when she speaks, you can hear her loud and clear.

"Storytelling has been a tradition of the knights of Camelot for some time. They would tell of the awesome feats of their king, and of their fellow knights... and... they were also prone to exaggeration in some cases."

There appears a small set of cards next to the liquor. You can read them, or you can implicitly understand them if you can't read.

"What feats have the heroes of Aather accomplished, I wonder? And what... exaggerations they may take? Before you, you will find prompts for your tales. You will write one for yourselves, for a set of knights, and for another team. I will select the most inspiring, as will your peers."

She tilts her head. "Ah, perhaps it is bad to encourage grandstanding..."

But before you can ask her, she vanishes.

Re: YOUR KNIGHT'S STORY...

There once were two knights, Mako and Fakir, who by chance found themselves facing off against a powerful monster together. Through teamwork, they were victorious. They decided to celebrate by having a drink together. They met with a Persona and bargained for some liquor, and took it into the Ring to sit and drink.

They chatted for a time, but after a while they had a little too much to drink and certain suppressed desires started to show through. One thing led to another, and that night they slept together right there in the Ring.

The persona who had given them the liquor found them naked in the Ring the next morning, and fearing something bad had happened, called up the other Personae to come see. Once the two knights woke up, the truth came out, and the Personae got a good laugh out of it.

Before Mako and Fakir could move to cover themselves, a few stray heroes, who had been in the vicinity of the ring, began to wander towards it. Then they were followed by more. It seemed that all of Aather had heard the laughter of the Personae and interpreted it as a call to a Game. The confused heroes and knights surrounded the Ring, where the two helpless humans were frozen in utter terror at the exposure of their sexual anatomy, which in humans is external and frankly ridiculous to behold. But that aside, the gathered Personae decided that there was no use wasting a good opportunity to push back the Darkness with a game. They were forced to come up with something quickly. Finally, one dark-haired young Persona woman spoke up. "Heroes of Aather," she said, "today each of your teams will tell me a tale concerning what you see before you. Take a good look at these two foolish knights, and write a story for me guessing how they came to be here and in this state of undress."

Every team then wrote a story about the event as they guessed it must have taken place. Of course, there was little question as to what had happened. It was only a matter of how well the story was told. In the end, Jasper took first place in the competition, because they did not go into unnecessary lewd detail or use low-class language to describe the matter.

But this did little to comfort the two knights, who never were given clothing, and wished for the rest of their lives that they could forget that morning.
