TURQUOISE
You can see the other teams, but there is an invisible barrier preventing you from hearing them. You can assume that they can't hear you, either. There is a hefty serving of sweet wine and liquor, should you choose it. With a loaf of bread that you can slice. Nimue is in the center of the formation of teams, and when she speaks, you can hear her loud and clear.
"Storytelling has been a tradition of the knights of Camelot for some time. They would tell of the awesome feats of their king, and of their fellow knights... and... they were also prone to exaggeration in some cases."
There appears a small set of cards next to the liquor. You can read them, or you can implicitly understand them if you can't read.
"What feats have the heroes of Aather accomplished, I wonder? And what... exaggerations they may take? Before you, you will find prompts for your tales. You will write one for yourselves, for a set of knights, and for another team. I will select the most inspiring, as will your peers."
She tilts her head. "Ah, perhaps it is bad to encourage grandstanding..."
But before you can ask her, she vanishes.

Seriously, you said you want my problems to prepare your own. Like what.

[pause]
Okay.
[another pause... getting more alcohol]
Echo has a friend who may not be a friend anymore because Echo said something regrettable. He received it better than Echo thought he would... but he said he would approach Echo later. It seemed to be implied that this would be in his own time. When he felt like it. It's been a week since we last spoke since that incident, and Echo's wondering if he is ending our friendship there.

Maybe he has good reasons, but I'm just saying, he should talk to you.

[sits the glass down]
...no. No, Echo cannot bear the mere thought of speaking to him. That could be it.

Okay, that's completely different. I know you like this guy, but he can't just leave you on the hook like that! Have some self respect. If he can't give you an answer one way or another, he's not the type of person you thought he was. It's just basic fucking consideration.
But that's still rough that he's making you wait like that. I know you don't want to hear me talk about him bad, but no one deserves to be told they'll get an answer whenever he fucking feels like it, you know? That's complete bullshit.

[no]
You have said too much.
But... Echo does not really want an answer? He and I could pretend like that never happened...
no subject
Is that actually what you want? It did happen, pretending isn't going to make it go away.

[i can't believe you're giving legit romance advice]

I'll drop it. Just think about it.

[pondering, idly poking her glass]
...Echo does not even know what kind of response she wishes to hear from him. What he said before was good enough.
