"Yeah!" Dawn says, hopping over to his workstation... well, it looks like a workstation? Mostly it seems like he's spread all over the place with no regard for other people's workstations. There's a cradle, whirring toys, a massive shield, and the weird... thing... he shoves in front of you.
"It's a memory playback device. Just think hard about something in your past and it replays. The better the memory, the easier it records."
"I've been keeping the thing pretty full! The whole point is to leave your mark around here. I haven't really invented anything new, so keeping what I have running smoothly is really important. You can try it out if you want."
