You turn it on. It begins cycling through some slides. There’s an image of a young girl in a hospital bed, an older man in a hospital gown yelling at a medical intern, the same man lying on the ground in the middle of the street after what looks like a nasty car accident, and another man with a very unsettling smile.

Ah... that girl must be Nanako...

[frowns]

It continues.

[turns it back off and goes over to see what Beatrice is doing]
