[When you enter the rooms, they're fairly open and large, with enough space to spread out. On the walls are posters with a list on them:

1. Trickery/mischief?
2. Love?
3. Truth?
4. Snakes?
5. Masks?

Can you ask a question when it depends on the last thing asked? Asked thusly, what would you say? Say what you would freely, or falter? Falter on the same word, or manage to soar?

There is a strange humming sense of expectation in the air.]

((We're playing the questions game with a twist! Each question needs to start with the needs to begin with the last word of the previous question, like in the IC example above. There is a list of themes and starter questions if you'd feel more comfortable springboarding that way -- using one of our starters will not lose you points! You'll have the standard five hours, after which we'll cut you off, but you can pretty much go wild and have as many question conversations as you feel like before you call it quits and head to endgame..))

Polite is very difficult to pin down in a place with so many differing cultures, isn't it better to come up with our own form of etiquette?

Etiquette depends on where you are, certainly, but aren't our ideas of manners always going to depend on what we remember from home?

Not to disparage "home is where the heart is," but don't you think I meant more "where one was raised"...

Raised and strictly enforced customs are more easily to discard when you arrive to a new place with no memory of them, so wouldn't it require some love of home to keep such a tight hold?

Holding to customs can be less a matter of love than habit; isn't that your experience?

Experience that I still lack -- doesn't that make me a blank slate?

Slate can still carry marks on it even after being erased. Another sort of display, maybe. But I don't mean to quibble; I had a few early memories like that, so maybe that's why?

Why, I'd think that would be enough. One can't be a soldier when all he remembers is planting flowers, can he?

He would find it very difficult, I'd imagine. I wonder why we keep the first memories we do?

Do you believe that those first memories are the ones that left the greatest impression on us?

"Us," is it. . . I think it must be very unique to each individual, don't you?

Perhaps, but if it didn't leave an impression then why else would we have clung so tightly to it?
