AMETHYST

You'll find yourself standing in the middle of a brightly-lit kitchen, wearing aprons in your team colors. If you look around, you'll find the following things.
  • A drawer filled with knives, forks, spoons, spatulas, and any other kind of kitchen utensil you can imagine.
  • A bookshelf.
  • A cabinet filled with all kinds of dishes and pots.
  • A cabinet filled with . . . clothing and costume accessories.
  • A drawer labeled "???".
  • A refrigerator
  • A sink. Dishsoap and rubber gloves are provided!
  • A storage closet containing a 10 foot ladder, hammer, nails, string, a first aid kid, a mop and a bucket.
  • Flat counters to work on.
  • A pile of ingredients with instructions.
  • Two cauldrons, one labeled "meal" and one labeled "dessert".
You'll hear the voice of the Baker after you're done taking a look around.

"Today I want you to come up with one meal and one dessert. For each creation, you can use up to five ingredients for each. When picking ingredients, please keep in mind the kind of meal that you would like to make. Do you want to make one that represents your team? One that represents your wishes? One that represents your favorite color? I'll let you decide that on your own, but it is something very important I think."

"For each ingredient that is prepared correctly, you will earn five points. If you only prepare it partially, then you get partial points. If you don't prepare it at all and just toss it in, then no points will be given. The instructions are a bit unclear, but ask your kitchen helper! They might have an answer or two. Once you are done, tap the side of the cauldron and your meal will be ready! As I always say, follow your cravings and do not limit yourselves."

(OOC INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Come up with themes for a meal and dessert (not an automatic loss if you don't but it can add to your chances to win. Assume characters know that ICly).
2. Choose five ingredients for each that fit with those themes. Prepare them using the instructions given here. You can get anywhere from 0-5 points depending on how you prepare them. You can use more than five ingredients if you choose to but only five will be scored. Anything found in the kitchen can be used to help prepare the ingredient! If you're not sure if something would be in there, ping Celi in IRC!
3. Knights and any heroes that participated in the knight round have had the chance to receive clearer instructions.
4. Whenever you are done, turn in the themes you've chosen and which ingredients you used and how you prepared them.
5. Once you turned in your recipe, wait for results before heading to endgame!

Extra note: If the instruction says to "prepare it yourself", it basically means there isn't a particular instruction you need to follow.)

. . .? What theme would you like me to use?
stigmateyes: (let's see here)

Hey, I have to come up with dinner. Just come up with something you think represents what you want, like she said. I think I'll make one that represents curiosity for the team.

[IMMEDIATELY ANSWERS:]

I want to find Sakura's feathers.

. . .But that is only what I want, and both of us are here playing.
stigmateyes: (waking up to you)

[personal profile] stigmateyes 2012-09-04 11:58 pm (UTC)(link)
... Then, we'll just do a dessert the represents both our wishes.

But what is your wish?
stigmateyes: (and endless naps for everyone :D)

I think I said I'd want to be able to heal more.

Also, look at all the awesome stuff I found in that drawer. It should really help us out with the ingredients!

"To heal" and "to find the feathers". . .? Is that a theme?
stigmateyes: (where do I even begin)

Re: MINGLE

[personal profile] stigmateyes 2012-09-05 01:07 am (UTC)(link)
Well, you want to find feathers to heal Sakura, right? Maybe healing in general can be a theme And we just need to toss in the ingredients that relate to that. For a soothing dessert.

For the meal, I'm going to go with the buffet ticket, the question mark cookie, the riddle book, the gem stones and the mysterious jar. Once you come up with the ingredients for the dessert, we'll figure out how to prepare all this crap.

I see. . . aah. . .

"Healing" could be the bandaids, the medicine bottle, apples, wing-shaped cookies, and. . . maybe one of the pillows?
stigmateyes: (last days)

How about the yellow one? I remember saying something about liking yellow.

Re: MINGLE

[personal profile] featherfetch 2012-09-05 01:30 am (UTC)(link)
. . .I think it would be better to use the green one. I am not sure how to "fix up" the yellow.
stigmateyes: (likes this plan)

I'll ask Baker real quick.

Alright. . . though I would prefer to only interact with Personae as necessary.
stigmateyes: (but my pillow ;;)

She's here because we don't have a knight like everyone else to answer the questions a knight would. We'll only ask her for that stuff, all right?

Maybe we're supposed to pull the threads loose.

Re: MINGLE

[personal profile] featherfetch 2012-09-05 01:45 am (UTC)(link)
But that would be damaging it further, not fixing it.
stigmateyes: (so I can make gay hand motions too)

What about fixing it up to sleep on?

Re: MINGLE

[personal profile] featherfetch 2012-09-05 01:56 am (UTC)(link)
[quietly]

I can't fix the yellow pillow, Night-san. Please allow me to use the green one instead?
stigmateyes: (a distant promise)

Ahh, I was mostly leaning toward that one because I think it might be mine...

Re: MINGLE

[personal profile] featherfetch 2012-09-05 02:05 am (UTC)(link)
Yours? What do you mean?
stigmateyes: (in serious need of a nap)

Re: MINGLE

[personal profile] stigmateyes 2012-09-05 02:07 am (UTC)(link)
I think it represents a thing I said I wanted before. Hey, how about we sprinkle it with the protection stuff to fit our theme? That would prevent it from getter further messed up so I guess that's fixing it. Then we could fluff it up like we were going to sleep on it just in case.

Re: MINGLE

[personal profile] featherfetch 2012-09-05 02:10 am (UTC)(link)
. . .If that is what you would like. I don't know if "protecting" is really the same as "fixing", though.
stigmateyes: (something you said)

Re: MINGLE

[personal profile] stigmateyes 2012-09-05 02:11 am (UTC)(link)
What about the other things in your set? How do you think we should prepare them?

Re: MINGLE

[personal profile] featherfetch 2012-09-05 02:16 am (UTC)(link)
[sighs]

There are many books on the shelf to read to the bandaids. The powder in that drawer could be used to make the apples taller. It seems that we can do as we see fit with the medicine bottle, and I am not sure how to cheer up cookies.
Edited 2012-09-05 02:19 (UTC)
stigmateyes: (this is going to suck)

Re: MINGLE

[personal profile] stigmateyes 2012-09-05 02:23 am (UTC)(link)
Let's give them an encouraging pat or something.

For mine, I guess I could put a nice hat on the ticket, tell a riddle from the book and pour the sneaky potion in the mysterious jar. I need to figure out the question mark cookie.
