They likely think they're being rational by looking at anything that would warrant suspicion, but they're just letting their fantasies get the best of them.

I'm sorry for losing my temper. I don't like it and I don't like the decision at all. But -- I know it was the right one strategically. I told Alena we'd play -- hard. We'd play to win and we wouldn't try to throw the game or whatever. She agreed.

But I'm not going to pretend like it's okay or that I like it.

That makes sense. I don't think I could make that kind of commitment. Even though . . . we've already made one of the worst choices.

...I died three times. Twice here and once back home. It's not much of a commitment for me. Honestly, it's rather cowardly in its own way.

Either way, I doubt Jabberwock will offer anymore clues after this with only one wolf left.
