Dog Game - Group 1
[You're in a small, dark room with no doors. The walls and floor are made of something like cement, though the floor is spread out with brightly-colored towels to make it a little softer (it doesn't help much.) The only light comes from one small window — you can maybe stand on your tiptoes, to see that it shows nothing but a view of a chainlink fence outside. It does not open or break. Despite the uncomfortable surroundings, the atmosphere is peaceful, if a little claustrophobic.
In the center of the floor there's a wide drain. The grate over it has been broken open and there's room for you to fit both hands in, but you feel a crawling apprehension about touching it, which makes sense if you know anything about Aather at all: up to an inch from the floor level it's filled with liquid darkness.
There are bowls next to each of you filled with tiny animal skeletons (they're kind of mousy?) If you touch the bowl, you know instinctively that they contain some of your memories of Aather and which skeleton is which memory. ♥
The Dog's voice in your head is less uncertain than before:]
Hello, hello! We're supposed to — retrieve your memories back from the darkness, right? It was bad darkness to take them! But to get there we have to run and jump with all our other memories and thoughts! Help me get a scent, please—? If you let them loose in the darkness right, I'll be able to follow!

Round 1
[if you take the "skeleton" of your memory and describe why that time in your life was like trying to jump a fence, the little skeletal mouse-thing will glow and play the memory for everyone to experience. once the other people in your group have commented on or discussed your memory and why it is appropriate for this round's theme, the skeleton will come alive, chittering, and leap into the darkness in the grate.]

Re: Presentation
Uh... this one's more metaphorical, but it was like climbing as fence because there was one really obvious solution which was pretty troublesome! It was my first time I came across that in a game too, so it was definitely more like a roadblock or a fence that was in my way than anything! So we decided to find a way to get over it, and did, and it was awesome.

Re: Presentation
... Well, sometimes we try to jump fences and sometimes we don't make it. Some hurdles in life are pretty stubborn.

... Trying to make a bunch of drunk, hyperactive teenagers listen to common sense is like trying to jump an impossibly high fence.

Round 1 - Mako #2
[yep, this memory]
Well, this memory was me psyching myself up for it.
[looks kind of grumpy at the very thought of this memory.]

Re: Presentation
Because when it's your first night and first game in Aather and you've got no where near the same tolerance level as these older knights and you've got to think up ways to get them to take a shot and try to guess what you can even take a shot about... that's definitely a really high fence to try and get over!

Re: Presentation
Aah, this was the time Onyx had to get our own place. That was a pretty big fence to jump over, but we managed.

Sometimes, you need to help others jump that fence too. So that they can show everyone else the trick.

Re: Presentation
Uh, okay, fair warning I was basically shooting my mouth off and didn't know much back then and grasping at straws... but there's stuff that's still true and I still wanna stand behind the intentions, I guess. Which is like with Thorn and helping boost someone over a fence? Except less about teaching someone how to hunt, and instead... listening and talking about finding your own place. Iris was having a hard time and I was looking for ways to help her.

Re: Presentation
Sometimes others can be showing you how to jump a difficult fence without even realizing it. Ways around things come in different forms.

Is this a good trick? I could roll over if that doesn't work—
