There is a small enclave for you, with ribbons hung in your team colors. There are chairs in a circle to sit, and a small basket with three sets of cards bound with twine. You instinctively reach for the set that is supposed to be done first, and the other two cannot be untied, no matter what you do.

Nimue's voice speaks softly to you.

"Thank you... for playing my game... I would like to get to know you better, heroes. So... I propose questions and answers. Before you are three sets of cards with different questions on them. You will know which ones come first."

She pauses and then continues, a bit more confident now.

"You may answer them. You may not. You may only tell the person that has asked the question, or you may tell all of Aather, for any others curious. You will be rewarded for your bravery, and honesty. I would prefer... more than a yes or no answer... but you may choose that, as well..."

My answer is only for my teammates. I really shouldn't hide things from them anyway.

I'm rather certain I'm absolutely insane back home. Whenever I take a memory, the shift in how she thinks it rather jarring.

I'm from the same world as Kit from Coral and Blackberry from Citrine. I go to their school. As far as I can tell, magic is not well known in my world, so the fact I'm a magic user is kept secret. Kit says I may be a witch from what he's remembered and I may talk with demons or 'fallen angels' for predictions.

I also seem to have some ability that makes males bend to my will as I am convinced every male will be my slave. Magic mirrors also tell me this. I am obsessed with Kit because he's the one boy who is immune to whatever this affect is.

So I decided I wanted to kill him. And yet other memories I will go out of my way to protect him. And even though I seemed to want to demoralize Blackberry when I first met her, later on I actually care about her.

As such, none of us can figure out what exactly is up with me back home.

What Meadow said... For myself, even at home I became close friends with someone that I started out trying to hurt, so... That kind of thing is confusing to remember out of order, right? Try... to be gentle with yourself, until you have more of the picture to go off of.

Obviously I think Meadow's a useful member of Kunzite... She takes care of all of us, and helps us figure out what's best for our team... She helps us win in games, and helps us have fun when we don't win, and helps us be happy at home. She got Elizabeth for us and always works hard to see everyone safe and happy. Beyond being "useful"... We love her, and I don't know what we'd do without her on Kunzite.

I'd go on liking someone even if they'd hurt someone I knew. None of us know our full situations, right? So judging on something like that, without knowing... well, it wouldn't be worth it.

I've answered her already, but yes — regardless of my teammate's circumstances in the past, I would still love any of them as the people I know today.

Miss Kira asked if I was really all right, and I want to say that I truly am — I had a very bad couple of days after a terrible memory, which you all carried me through. But I've come to realize that I have a purpose in Aather, and it is to be happy, and try to secure the happiness of the people important to me. . . it's a very freeing thing, to know that you must act, and in what direction, with no uncertainty any more. So yes. I think there will be days when I'm sad, or happy, but all in all — I'm doing very well. Thank you, always.

Mister Red,

I was only Mister Autumn's teammate for a short time, but I can tell you that he was the man who put me at ease fastest, and who I felt closest to on the team, until he left us. We didn't share many of the details of our pasts, but I would have considered myself — perhaps presumptuously — very close to him. I am sure he was a valuable comrade of yours, just from what I know of how valuable a comrade of mine he has been; in his words and advice that have continued to influence me even after he was put in the book for his protection. I am sorry, both for Kunzite's sake and for yours, that he isn't with us at this moment.

I would like to learn more about him, if that is ever something you wish to discuss, but I will leave such things to your discretion.
