I think back home, he had to fight against enemies that were red while he was blue. I guess it's kind of like here in a way except most teams here are friendly and don't shoot you in the face with a tank.
Even if that was his own teammate that did that but still.
I'm really kidding about the hating part. He would have yelled at you forever about the red, sure, but honestly, he's a really great guy who wanted to protect the team most of all. He wouldn't have abandoned you for liking the color red.
