You find yourself inside an elegant room, lit with a crystal chandelier shaped like a swan’s wings. Inside, there are just enough couches and chairs to seat you all. The room is bracketed on all sides by glittering golden bars, which flare inward and taper off at the ceiling. All along the bars hang the portraits of your fellow Heroes and Knights, each with an indentation along the bottom of the frame.

In the middle of the room, there is a table, and on that table are several clusters of perfect tear-shaped rubies. Six for each of you. As with memories, you instinctively know which of the gems are yours. If someone should touch one that isn’t theirs, it will disappear from their hand, and appear in that of their rightful owner.

Isn't it!? Because from what it looks to me, you've convinced yourself so much that it's not because of your need to protect people, but it doesn't stop that's what you're doing to us!

Exactly. All of us here... treasure life, and every point put on us is a burden. We understand that! That said, you're just going to put all your burden on us instead!? Because you can't deal with it!?

That's not the main point! I... don't care about how much burden I have! I'm sure the knights don't either! But I care about you not being able to bear it at all! That your value is something you despise and resent others so much for, that you'd prefer anyone else to have it! Are you that weak!?

I thought you cared about people, about their feelings, about their lives. If you're going to throw their feelings away, just to feel like you can save face, then being weak is the least you have to worry about! You said you wanted to stop hurting people, didn't you!?
