[Once you have picked your animal, four slots open under the the animal's side, each labelled with the four stats. From the pedestal where it rested, a slot opens, revealing twenty clear marbles.]

Distribute your points as you see fit. Will you enhance your strengths further? Will you balance yourselves out? Or will you swing yourself in an unexpected direction?

[On the far wall, a poster unfurls itself:

DEFENSE beats STRENGTH
STRENGTH beats SPEED
SPEED beats INTELLIGENCE]

[Once the marbles have been sorted, the slots close automatically. The animal turns its head this way and that, for all appearances coming to real actual life.]

Let your voice ring clear! Let's have none of that skulking around; instead, meet your opponent directly! Face your challenge and see who will emerge victorious!

[Your opponents will be: Carnelian, Kunzite, and the second Knight team! You will face off against them one-on-one to trade blows; you may only pick each attack once. It will be your choice to decide which attack will be directed at which team.
