[After the requisite amount of time, a blinding flash fills your vision. When it clears again, you find yourself standing (or sitting, for the less balanced among you) on the beach … except you’re a hell of a lot smaller. And the sand dunes are a hell of a lot bigger.

You and your knights are each approximately an inch tall, with exceptions made for the lucky dragons and other large non-humanoids, who are the correct size, proportionally. A large flat stretch of sand is on one side of you, with a fresh mound of easily moldable sand next to that. Not that there’s any shortage of sand on the beach. In addition to that, you will find a box full of tools that you can use to craft your sandcastles, including shovels in all shapes and sizes, buckets, cups, and other basic sand stuff. There is also a box labeled SPECIAL SUPPLIES, which has the following items in it:

+ One flag (in team colors)
+ One collapsible drawbridge (push the button to make it life-size)
+ One collapsible portcullis (same as the drawbridge)
+ One cute plastic dragon (person-height)
+ One packet of “instant moat” (just add water!)

You will find that all the tools work at amazing speeds with very little effort. Constructing an epic multi-story castle is very doable even within this short time frame.]

Maybe... a beachside house, I think. Small enough to be comfortable, but very open and airy.

[The ocean comes up quickly on one side, where you see a large, vaguely squirmy appendage in the surf. It looks to be nearly as wide as you are tall … and many times as long. On the other hand, this way leads to a cluster of several large, ovoid shapes.

Which way?]

[As you get closer, you can see curious tracks in the sand. Like they were made by a much larger critter. And ... you can eventually see the mound under the shapes, which has been deliberately packed to shelter a clutch of rockzile eggs.]

*Having decided that a traditional castle would be a bit forbidding, Kunzite has opted to construct an airy, luxurious seaside villa instead. It follows this basic design, with lots of windows, a large porch surrounding the whole structure, and welcoming entrances rather than the heavy portcullis. A channel has been dug from the nearby ocean, providing water for the moat and for the pool in the courtyard, which is ringed with seaweed and beach grasses so as to suggest foundation planting. The courtyard is also where we've elected to place our dragon. The roof of the main building is in fact a terrace, with benches to sit on to enjoy the view; the team flag is placed on one side of the terrace over the main entrance, while a rockzile egg serves as a sort of sculpture/conversation piece at the terrace's center. As a final touch, an actual baby rockzile--adorned with some cute ribbons--is standing guard (?) over the main entrance.*
