You find yourselves in a well acquainted parlor while the storm rages on outside. Mother's voice resounds from somewhere unseen.

"Dear Mother will be with you in a moment, my children. But until then, please do try to become well acquainted with one another."

Of course. Very uncouth.

But I admit I'm curious what leads you to believe such an uncouth thing.

She's terrible at keeping her real emotions in check, and more than that, she's very protective.

I cannot say I know her well enough to say, myself, but I will certainly make sure not to cross her loved ones then.

Most likely wise. She has a mean right hook. And jab. And everything else.

And perhaps a few things on the left as well.
