Amethyst

[Upon entering your team's cloud of mist, you find yourselves transported to a bare stone room with a single stone table and chairs. (The chairs have been bolted to the floor.) On the table are a 16 red stones, 8 blue stones, and a 2 black stones. There are also indentations around the edge of the table, each one marked in the color of one of the teams.]

I would like to protect Peridot as well.

The black ones... we should probably take from teams that will be defended by others. In order not to affect them too much.

Maybe. I haven't been around in a while, so... you guys probably know better how teams are doing right now.

... Also, if we could give some protection to Emerald as well...

The more protection we give, the less power it'll have, ahh...

Luckily, we are not the only ones providing protection.

No. We don't need to play those stones at all to complete the game.

It's not necessary to use the black ones.

But defending ourselves is important too.

So you're that selfish. Do what you want as long as you don't touch Turquoise and Emerald.

Ahh, I know Tiger's Eye will. And Peridot might, but it has other priorities too...

I believe that we will have enough.

We won't leave anyone defenseless unless we all somehow choose to steal from the same team. But there are considerably less black stones in play than blue stones, so even then...

There are other teams who will protect us just as we will protect them. We don't need the black stones.

What about teams that might steal from us?
