Peridot

[Upon entering your team's cloud of mist, you find yourselves transported to a bare stone room with a single stone table and chairs. (The chairs have been bolted to the floor.) On the table are a 16 red stones, 8 blue stones, and a 2 black stones. There are also indentations around the edge of the table, each one marked in the color of one of the teams.]

Only if they agree to it. Just because they're new... doesn't mean they can't make difficult decisions for themselves.

That kind of logic just gets good, well-meaning people hurt. I'm not encouraging that kind of behavior. Everyone here is forced to do damage, and those who choose to protect the people next to them aren't dirtier than those who don't.

It's simple enough. Choices like this shouldn't be made with the idea that you aren't hurting anyone when you're hurting the person next to you.

But we'll be back, all of us. So it isn't so heavy a price.

We know we're hurting people, no matter what. It's more about...choosing not to hurt people who don't consent.

Consent, huh...

Maybe it sounds kind of silly, but...it's the best we can do, to not be cruel.

I don't want anyone here to get hurt! I don't want to hurt the new knight or Daisy! But I don't want to hurt the other teams even more-- because at least I can ask them what they think they can handle!

That question is loaded.

But it isn't as if you yourself aren't under fire, here. I just hate watching kind people who think like you driven into this type of corner.

If there was a way... to protect them, I'd do it. I'll... probably still try, depending on what happens.

Haha, well, admittedly my damage threshold is, perhaps, a little lower than everyone else's... so depending on what form damage takes, it could be a little messy!

On the other hand, it's not like I want to force anyone to play on other teams?

Basically if someone has to get hit with a hammer I would like it to not be me, but other than that I'm okay with whatever decision everyone makes.

Haah... you're pretty brave, aren't you? You're one of the two people I want to protect the most in here, you know.

Really, though, I don't think I can stand up to all these big sad eyes everyone's making, even if I was really set on it, you know?
