[Upon entering your team's cloud of mist, you find yourselves transported to a bare stone room with a single stone table and chairs. (The chairs have been bolted to the floor.) On the table are a 16 red stones, 8 blue stones, and a 2 black stones. There are also indentations around the edge of the table, each one marked in the color of one of the teams.]

We...can, I'm pretty sure. [just silent for a moment] They're willing to die, for this. And if other teams know about this, they're probably going to get more damage than they could survive, even if...

[scrubbing his hands over his face]

...okay probably sitting around trying to figure out what other teams are going to do is just going to take all night, but. I'm pretty sure it's what Emerald would want us to do, and I'm willing to do it. That...doesn't mean it's what Peridot's going to do.

...me neither, but I'd rather...hurt people who are okay with it than the other thing. That's just me, though.

[more quietly] Well. I'd rather take it on myself, but. That's not just me.

If everyone here is okay with it. It's not something Peridot has done in the past, but...

But who else do we pick?

[nods] I know. I'm not okay with placing damage on anybody that doesn't consent. That means any team except Peridot and Emerald, assuming Peridot consents, and maybe today we might, because...well, we can't exactly ask them.
