Coral

[Upon entering your team's cloud of mist, you find yourselves transported to a bare stone room with a single stone table and chairs. (The chairs have been bolted to the floor.) On the table are a 16 red stones, 8 blue stones, and a 2 black stones. There are also indentations around the edge of the table, each one marked in the color of one of the teams.]

I'm thinking so, yeah.

Of course.

So the question is, how much damage does one attack point do?
fairlyheroic: (But somehow I'll see it through.)

Do you think he'd answer us if we asked?

There's only one way to find out, isn't there?

May as well.

Hey, Jabberwock! How much damage does one attack point do?
fairlyheroic: (And I won't judge it.)

. . . that was specific.

[vague, but slightly relieving to know that one stone won't kill. relaxes sliiiightly]

. . . then there's the option of distributing the stones as evenly as we can among teams.

[a pause] Assuming other teams do the same thing, however, we'd all wind up with at least 14 attack points. Maybe more because of extra stones.

I think that may be the best option for at least this round, to see how things go. Hopefully the other teams get the same idea.

The other teams are smart. 'M sure they will.

[hesitates though]

We have 16 stones and 14 teams, and we'll have to skip Coral. We can play blue stones to cancel out the teams we give extra attack points to.

That's not a bad idea.

[Wandering into the discussion.]

It's the most fair.

[But unpleasant.]

It's the best way to make sure that no one gets hurt too badly, right?
