The Ring seems to fade out around you. More to the point, it seems like the world just zeroes in on your small dessert table and your team. You appear to be in a lantern-lit garden, though if you try to stray away from the table, you find yourself disoriented and turning back around to face it. There is a gentle sound of water running.

There is a book and quill on the table now, too. The pages are blank, for now. When writing does appear, you find you're able to understand the words regardless of whether you can read or not.

For the other teams... here's what I think. [pauses and then lists off things]

Coral is enthusiastic and kind... and, hmm, maybe somewhat delusional.
Ruby is hesitant and easily intimidated.
I haven't met anyone from Carnelian, but I heard a girl from the team derailed the last game, so maybe pushy and socially inept...?
I haven't met anyone from Tiger's Eye either, but I've heard a girl from that team plays chess and investigates things.
Heliodor is generally nice, I think... and willing to jump into things without considering them thoroughly, maybe.
The Peridot woman was strange... maybe somewhat delusional as well, and certainly self-absorbed.
I don't have anything for Emerald or Turquoise.
The Sapphire was perhaps slightly cynical, but friendly and eager to help.
Iolite seems very, hmm... Withdrawn and analytical? Occasionally to the point of standoffishness.
Amethyst was generous and informative, although not particularly driven or outgoing...? I might call them withdrawn, as well.
And I don't know Kunzite either.

In the last game everyone was given roles and had to find the culprit in a fictional murder. She was too overenthusiastic in trying to intimidate everyone, drew everyone's attention, and allowed the culprit to remain undetected even though he made an obvious change in his story.

As for Jasper... Well, we're still working things out, obviously, but I'd certainly say we're intelligent and logical. And perhaps uniquely unusual...?

I would agree with that assessment of us. We do seem to have--perhaps an unusual mix of personalities, yet harmoniously so . . . thus far.

And if that behavior is typical of that team, they sound like a lot to avoid.

I'd agree with Heliodor--they're an energetic team, but not particularly thoughtful.

I talked briefly to someone from Turquoise; apparently they're close, even thought they don't win very often. Maybe a little too easy-going?

I'd emphasize the standoffishness for Iolite, though they seem to be a bit inclined to be friendly off their own team...

Citrine was vicious and antisocial but I only met one of them.

I met someone on Kunzite only once briefly; he wandered by our table to meet the new teams and identified me as a snake.

Sterling was helpful, but in a sort of absurdly outgoing way. I think I met an Onyx but they didn't make an impression.

I haven't met anyone on Ruby, Tiger's eye, Heliodor, Emerald, Turquiose, or Amethyst.

I spoke with Ash on Ruby briefly. He was rather quiet himself, but the way he described his team made them seem close, if rather chaotic.

Ah, the Citrine I met was very friendly, outgoing and and helpful. He brought us the toothpaste and soap and showed me where to find food and told me some things that had happened lately. So maybe their team is a bit conflicted.

I can't imagine that any team including two people with such polar opposite personalities would be terribly harmonious. That will be a good thing to express.

The Sapphire I spoke to was also friendly and eager to help, but very straightforward. It wasn't in that annoyingly playful manner of the knights or some others. Perhaps they're a grounded and serious team. If Coral is the darker pink team, delusional is accurate. Enthusiastic as well, to a frustrating degree.

Sapphire told me that they liked to host dinner parties. That was their 'thing'. So I don't know if I'd say serious... Yes, that's what I've seen of Coral so far.
