[You enter a pleasant sitting room: there are nine plush comfy chairs in a semi-circle in front of a crackling fireplace, and a table set with various finger-foods and two carafes, one of water and one of wine. It'd be a very nice room ... if not for the dummy lying facedown on the floor with a giant butcher knife sticking out of its back and a little bottle by one of its hands, marked with a tiny skull and crossbones. There's a hangman's noose around its neck, though the other end looks rather frayed.

The pleasant voice of a woman -- not the persona -- begins to speak:]

Hello and welcome. I wish it could have been under better circumstances, but today has some interesting circumstances. As you can see, my good associate, Mister X, has met an unfortunate end. I've reason to believe it might be one of you! Shall we see if I'm right?

Right... this guy wasn't going to fake being dead and get off as soon as they walked away.

[nudges the dummy with his foot.]

It's hard to tell without a real body, though.

[cool, let's both nudge him from either side. We're respecting the dead or something]

I guess they expected us to be creative.

What, you think we can make up an answer? I like that thought.

[shrugs]

Don't care enough about the geezer to find his real killer. Like this guy would be worth avenging anyway.

[well then maybe later you can try and interact with my second personality which I just learned about and am basically trying to imitate for this game]

[actually… blinks at that before recovering.]

[tenses a little at that.]

Pffft, what, scared now? You're hilarious. Okay, it wasn't you after all, because you amuse me.

If you wanna go write that down in the book, be my guest. Then we all get to go home.

No such luck; everyone has to do that. So if you don't care, why are you still here?

I don't see you writing in the book yet, but you're very eager for others to.

We're doing this to-get-her so if I just walk out before we've come to a group decision to be done, I'm kind of failing.

And I don't know about you, but I hate losing, so I'm not leaving until we're actually done.
