Amethyst
[There is a circular table with seven chairs lined around it. In the center of the table, there is a bowl with fire burning pleasantly inside it. It seems to be the only source of light in the room. The flames flash upon a few items spread across the table: A spool of black thread, a worn though plenty sharp knife, a wooden cup with a faint coopery smell, and a saucer of seven smooth, black stones.]

Three, name your price and I will pay it, whatever it is.

Re: Choice
There are a few factors. Complicated by the fact that I have no sense of self-preservation, yet promised a teammate I'd be careful. For all I know, given that you can't trust Personae as far as you can throw them, you'll torpedo the deal if I rule out their offer. Which potentially screws me over, but leaves them safe. So naturally, that's my first instinct--just as Sky's first instinct is that he'd do anything to protect me. Double-blind negotiation, how very annoying.
But in the end, we are all Amethyst. And Amethyst is a team that has repeatedly set a precedent of allowing no unnecessary sacrifice, and of arranging payments that do no real harm to us in answer to these stupid challenges. I will not allow them to make a choice that violates that precedent. I am temporarily separated from the team, you'll have to give me back eventually. So whatever price they pay must be temporary. Nobody will come to permanent harm. If they can have me back without paying any of your ridiculous prices verbatim, then they may certainly do so. If somebody must be injured or so on, in order to retrieve me, then those injuries will be as painless as my transfer here, and they will be healed in full the moment I am returned to my team, as my presence here is equally temporary. That is the maximum that I will allow."
