[GAME 105] EMERALD

[You find yourself in a large, tatami-floored room. Three of the walls are made of paper, the fourth side of the room has bamboo screens tied up to the ceiling to reveal a wide wooden corridor that serves as a porch. Beyond it is a lovely garden, though it's difficult to see clearly -- it's night, after all, and there are only so many lanterns. The room itself is well-illuminated by candles on tall stands. Its main feature is an elaborate sleeping area in the very center: what is presumably a futon and "bedroom" concealed from view by a canopied tent that hangs from the ceiling. It is tied closed. A row of lacquered screens and kimono stands draped in rich fabric stretch from either side of the canopy to the walls. You can't quite see past them, but you have the impression that there are people on the other side. The faint smell of incense wafts from a nearby burner.

Despite the opulent furnishings, the entire room gives the impression of faint decay, as though it has not been used in quite some time.]

[A low desk sits to one side of the room. Three have been placed on it:
✿ a doll of a young girl in a kimono (like so)
✿ a doll of a humanoid figure with wild hair, a snarling expression, and horns (like so)
✿ a black and white tapir carved of wood (like so)

Each toy has two small vials of liquid sitting in front of them.

There is also a scrap of paper in the middle of the desk. As you look at it, you can hear the Masked Lady's voice speak the words written on it into your mind:]

"Dreamer, Nightmare, Baku. The Nightmare torments the Dreamer. The Baku consumes the Nightmare. And the Dreamer may starve the Baku.

You will choose amongst yourselves a representative to take on one of these roles. The chosen person will drink from the vial and go to the bed. Inside, they will meet a representative from another team. If your representative prevails, they will return to you. If not… you will lose both them and their skills for the rest of the game.

Ah, but don't worry. Just as you wake from a dream to find that everything is as you left it, they will be returned to you at the end of the game. In the meantime, they will merely be held somewhere separate from you~"

Additional rules:
✿ There will be three rounds. You will be matched against a different team each round.
✿ When you have made your decision, comment under the "Choice" header with the character in question drinking from the vial you've chosen.
✿ Each person can only drink from one vial. If Character A drinks from the Baku vial in Round One, they will remain Baku for the rest of the game.
✿ If your team loses the rock-paper-scissors match, Character A will be taken to a separate post where they will chill for the rest of the game.))
