On each side of the screen there is a table with numbered boxes. Sapphire's numbered boxes matches the number of Citrine present, and Citrine's matches the number of Sapphire present.

There is a quill in ink, and small sheets of paper.

No, you listen to me. It's not just a question. You're playing with people's lives and their happinesses, and maybe it's just a game to you. For all I know, you'd be just happy tossing us all into the darkness and watching us writhe. I wouldn't put it past you, and I'd believe it of you. But I'm still doing my damndest to help fix the mistake that you people made with your own world. And as soon as you just start thinking about us as "just another piece," that's where you're wrong, and that's where you fail. That's why you can't do a damned thing for yourself, while we've been making more progress in six months than you people have for years.

You can play cute all you want, with your stupid nicknames and games and playing. It doesn't change the fact that you're one of the powerless ones. So if I get angry? I have that right, because at least I've been doing something. And sure I'll get over it and the next time you decide you're "helping" by running a game, I'll be there. Helping for real.

Ultimately, those morsels are our burdens to bear -- our responsibility. If we decide to share them, it would be because we've decided for ourselves that that is the best course of action for all involved.

To force someone else to share their burdens when they're unable for whatever reason is simply cruel. We'll share our own burdens, but no-one else's.

If that means losing this game, so be it. We forfeit.

Mine, yes. Not Red's.

Red said he was all right with it. If no-one on Sapphire has any problems with having their own secrets shared, I'll tell Citrine to go ahead.

...He says he's okay with it, but I'm not sure he is. I can't voice an objection if that's his decision, but I would prefer they didn't. For mine, I don't have any problems.

I would be fine with that. Rather than letting Cheshire goad us into something we're not comfortable with.
