[ you can climb up ONTO the clouds, it is a bit like moving through a ball pit and then sitting on a waterbed.

you are on a light square of clouds. It seems like there are alternating light and dark squares like . . . a checkerboard :|a?? It's hard to tell with no vantage point though.

The air is slightly chilly and smells like mint. ]
