KNIGHT GROUP A

You're in a wide, bright room with beaten copper walls. The ceiling is a frosted glass dome etched with leaves and thorns and flowers.

There's a table with some sheets of paper and a brilliant red quill pen with a very sharp, fine tip; it's only warm to the touch, but that tip scorches words into the paper rather than using any ink. Testing it on your skin might not be wise.

Another copper bird sits on the table with the papers, and serves as the quill stand.

Some beautiful flowers appear on the table. They are about the length of your thumb, made of clear glass, and when you look at them you know their names.

something that looks like a chrysanthemum, except every petal is pointed and razor-edged.

Firebird's voice comes from the copper bird: "Please pick a flower to represent yourself! ♪"

...but they're flowers.

I don't think I recognize most of them.

I know all their names for some reason... it's kind of creepy.

I don't even know which one I'd pick, though. Aeris would be good at this . . .

Is it okay to pick one that just looks pretty? I don't know anything about flower symbology...

They're symbols?

They might be? It's some poetic old-fashioned thing.
