Nimue’s voice is calm when she speaks. “I wish… to tell a story, with your help. But first, you must choose your role. There are only four options, and thus four groups… These will each have an important part in my story.”

The ROYALTY glows. “Royalty’s decision will have vast effects on their people. This is a most consequential role, with the greatest amount of effect on others.”

Followed by the KNIGHT. “Perhaps it is not quite the same for our knights, but… a knight is bound by their service to royalty. Will you be comfortable following the orders given to you by our royalty?”

The NOBLE flashes next. “Nobles seek upwards, striving to improve their place in the court. They are meant… to be most chivalrous. But have their motives, of course. You may choose the type of noble you will be.”

Finally, the PAUPER flashes. “The least of these… Or is it? This role could have the greatest effect, or the least. They are not bound by the rules of the other roles. You may behave however you see fit, and… perhaps be great enough to move a kingdom.”
