The room is dark. Before you is a heavy table, and on the opposite ends are two goblets, each filled with an unknown liquid. As you approach the table, you can see a faint shadow in the center.
Approach it, and you realize that it’s a barrier of some sort; it’s impassive. On one side is you and your teammates, on the other is your knight (or knights, with an extra goblet).
The room is rather chilly. Nimue speaks softly, “The test is simple. Within these goblets is a poison that must be drunk. If you decline to drink, the knights will be forced to.”
Odile chimes in, “Unless, of course, you are too sensible to merely accept such a fate. If you have the courage for it, you may instead name another team. If your bonds are wound together in this game, I would force them to drink instead.” You can see the other teams in your group, but only them; the others must be elsewhere.
There are two tokens on the table: one pale, with an embossed sword. It rests in a shallow depression on the knight’s side, untouchable by the heroes. The other is a black iron coin with a single ruby forming the eye of a swan.
