[As the game begins, each team finds themselves standing in a small ring of stones. The crystal pillar rests in the center of the circle, easily within sight and hearing of everything that will be going on. You can leave and see the other columns if you like, but once the game has started you can't see what the other teams are doing.

Also present is a small wrought-iron table, on which a curious mechanical swan rests. There's a glass panel set into its back, under which you can see a corroded key. The swan seems to be completely lifeless.]

[You feel a dark emptiness in the very core of your soul. It drains all the emotions out of you, making your body feel cold and detached. If this were Kingdom Hearts, you'd be small and black and cute. And to everyone else, it looks as though there's suddenly a heart-shaped hole in your chest. In fact, there is a heart-shaped hole in your chest. You could keep a mug in there.

The key looks shiny enough to use now, however. Which is good -- Mithos is definitely drowning now. However, there's one minor hiccup: it's still inside the swan and that glass panel ain't opening on its own. How do you get it out?]

[The swan squawks fearfully. Break it?]

[The swan looks up at you wayyy too long ... and then the glass door opens peacefully.]
