Perhaps cripple it further? A dragging mechanical leg, machinery and wires spilling from the forearms, bruises on the skin... or perhaps even without the mechanical aspect, just make one of us up to be hideously wounded.

To me, personally? Nothing. It isn't that, it's that I know they have the power to take away my memories, take me completely out of my life, kill me and bring me back as if it means nothing... it's that I don't know how I could stand against them if I needed to, and my only protection seems to be that I'm a resource they need -- and even then, they don't need me personally. Those are the things that frighten me. The ones who seem rational aren't quite as frightening, but the ones who seem... insane, or randomly cruel... they terrify me. That doesn't mean I'll let that fear affect how I behave, but I still feel it.

They happen to have raw power, but they're fallible. Beauty has apparently used up her power once before, and had to spend time "recovering." For a while, everyone was concerned because it seemed not all of them had the power to perform revivals.

The fact that they have the power but are careless and, in Beauty's case at least, desperate, isn't actually comforting to me.
