[ You step into a wooden room that smells of the sea; stand still long enough and you’ll notice the room is rocking very faintly. A round table sits in the middle of the room with wooden chairs lining the edges. At the back of the room sits two large, locked treasure chests, to the side an open closet. Inside are PIRATE CLOTHES, captain hats, bandannas, FAKE HOOKS, and the like.. A piece of paper lays on the table, along with an ink well and a feather pen. The door locks behind you as you enter; looking out the porthole now reveals an endless sea. ]

They're light-hulled and light-gunned, so if we can catch them, we can take them. Catching them is the problem.

Attack! Ruby or Kunzite would work too.

Both of them have been following the big swarms, and they've each been engaged once. If we can guess that Citrine won't run -- and thinking about the people I know on that team, they probably won't -- they might be a good bet.

Yeah... though now that I think about it, no one's attacked us at all so far. D'you think this'll be the round we get piled on?

Oh... that's a good point. And they'll probably think we won't run away again after last round.

The question is, are three chests enough to win?

That's true. I think. I'm not very good at math.

But then they could get five this round if they attack someone again. Let's just attack someone and hope for the best.

I don't think anyone has that many yet. Most of the ships that've been attacking others have gotten attacked, too.

Oh, that's true. Well, I don't mind too much either way.

It's a possibility, but nobody got swarmed too badly last round. That might have just been bad luck for Sapphire.

Three people on us'd be enough to steal all our treasure if they got lucky.

...if everyone succeeded on their attacks and nobody attacks them, any of our targets could get more than us this round. Carnelian and Amethyst, too. Sapphire's definitely out of contention, Peridot and Iolite probably are...

...I think we need to attack. It's too easy for someone else to win if we don't. And hey, we're pirates, right?

Maybe no one's noticed that we haven't been attacked yet.

I think running again would probably be smarter, to be honest. But if you guys outvote me...

I'm thinking about it this way. If we run, we'll probably stay at three, but a lot of teams could get four or five this round. If we stay, we'll probably get one or two chests, and we've got good odds of losing one or two, too. So we'll probably end up the same, except that we'll have taken treasure from someone else and made it harder for them to beat us.

D'you think some of the others with three will run this round?

It probably would be. But attacking is more fun.
