You find yourself in a densely wooded area, in a small clearing, facing a cabin. The windows all seem to be closed tightly, and there is a red "x" painted on the door.

There are several narrow pathways leading away into the forest, but it is dim and misty in the approaching twilight. Vines hang low from the trees, curling slightly, and the air is hushed and too quiet. There are no sounds of birds or animals.

They're not human in the first place.

True...but look at his shoulder. And a wound in his stomach could leave that blood on his shirt. I've been there. Human or no...their bodies seem to be put together in more-or-less the same way.

I know that. But this may well be an "illness" to them. Or perhaps it's an illness that has made them physical in the first place, so they are not used to dealing with the problems of physical flesh. Anyway, that should not be much of an issue in terms of their treatment. Presumably, that will be much the same.
