[Quest for Selenia]

[There's a tugging sensation, and the scenery around you blurs. When it resolves itself, you're standing in an impressive -- albeit not very long -- hallway. The walls are old stone and the ceiling is high. The floor is marble. The wall behind you is mostly taken up by a large painting, under which stands a tall porcelain vase containing white lilies. At the other end of the hall is a large wooden door.

There are four other doors, two on each of the remaining walls. These doors appear to have a small paintings hung on them in lieu of any other identifying feature.]

[Hmm...Lets check the paintings on the other doors first.]

To your left, the door closest to you is marked with this painting, while the one beyond it has this. To your right, this painting adorns the door closest to you, while this hangs from the final door.

[glancing back at the larger painting and the vase, then goes through the final door]

As you step inside, you hear the sound of music... and the scent of lilies all but assaults you. The room is covered in them. Vases and vases and vases of white lilies. They seem to stretch on forever, especially due to the three-part hinged mirror in one corner, reflecting them over and over again. A large four-poster bed occupies the central position in the room.

A dressmaker's dummy stands at the foot of the bed, and a large painting hangs on one of the walls.

It's hard to tell where the music is coming from.

[reaches out to gently touch a lily]

It feels like a perfectly normal flower. Probably freshly cut.

[heads over to look at the bed now]

The bed is pretty sumptuous-looking. Definitely high threadcount for the sheets, and feather pillows.

But the sheets disordered, and there's a bit of blood on them...

[...oh.]

[caaaarefully pulling the sheets back]

Luckily for you, the bed is empty. There's just... you know, a small but conspicuous blood stain.

[...looking under the bed.]

Good choice. There seems to be something small and metallic under there.

[getting down on the ground so he can carefully slide it out]

It is, unsurprisingly, a key. The moment your fingers touch it, the music in the room stops.

[looking up...and looking to the painting to see if it changed at all.]

Nope! Not a bit.

[frowns a bit, then goes to take a closer look at the dressmaker's dummy]

It's the kind that's just a cloth-padded torso on a stand, without head or limbs. The dress is quite nice, though -- probably expensive despite its simplicity.

[Hmm...Goes to take a look at the three-way mirror.]

Three reflections of you stare back!

[...smiles and waves, making sure they all do the same as well.]

They do, thankfully. I mean, this isn't a Masked Lady quest.

[OKAY. GOOD. BEHAVE LIKE A GOOD MIRROR.]

[...taking a cautious look behind the mirror.]

There's a wall there.
