*you find the vegetable patch from the forest region! the soil is rick, dark and soft; the vegetables and fruits vigorous and flourishing; the patch still staked out in neat sections with team-colored thread.

feelings linger in the air here: peace and ease of mind.

in a sunlit corner tucked away from the patch, you see another cluster of colourful vines, growing together in a single spot. even from a distance they look . . . odd . . .*

*the vines are...conglomerations. one has blueberries and tiger lilies growing on it; one has broad leaves and large white flowers with a hint of pale yellow light at their centres; one has black-and-white striped seedpods with bluebells growing from the tips; one looks exactly like a bougainvillea vine except that it's completely silver. et cetera. there are several kinds, some stouter than others.

...one of them has no leaves, just small flowers made out of blue glass. its main stem and runners are frosty white. it's drooping a bit, and it appears to have been hacked at on several points along the stem. clear fluid still oozes from the cuts.*

Mithos is standing over you; he looks a little different from how he is in Aather. no Sterling key. the bracelets he wears are not violet, but beaten black iron. he's holding a strange weapon at his side made of the same material: rather like a keyblade, but with emphasis on blade rather than key.

he looks horrified.*
