Three pebbles are on one side and nine on the other. There are three doors on the wall opposite you (past the scales). Each door is made of dark wood and has gold lettering.]

[there is a lake at the end of the path! but it has completely frozen over. It was a faint gold colour once, but now frozen solid it is a cold, muted colour. There are some toys haphazardly strewn about the lakeshore.

You may hear crying in the distance.]

[there are some dolls, a rocking horse, a brightly coloured wooden box. The paint and colour on all of them seems to be bleeding away, and when you touch them they are cold enough to it to be painful.]
