We have one 5-letter vertical, and 8-letter, 5-letter and 7-letter horizontals. I imagine the 5-letter vertical would give us the most difficulties later so it may be best to start with that one.

We can make the best of it. Picking out words won't be so hard. We could do something like "truth" for the 5-letter word and go from there...

'Doggy' is a cute choice, but Yuki's right that it would put us in a predicament if that space is meant to be for the second. It looks a little off-center to me though, hmm...Would 'SNAKE' be better?

I was thinking "truth" might work, but snake should be good too if we can find words that match up with the letters.

"TRUTH" should still be doable.
