DARK CARDS

Several black cards appear face-up on the table in the center of the room, a shadowy cold emanating off of them. There is writing around the edges—perhaps giving you an idea of what to expect?

There is one red card as well, metallic around the edges. An extra punishment, perhaps?

Belly full of stones (8 points)
Just a slight pain at first, a heavy weight, like something swallowed too thick. Then again . . . and again . . . if this kept going, would it be possible for a person to burst?

Speaking in gemstones (1 point)
"I grant you," the fairy continued, "that with every word you speak, a flower or a precious stone shall fall from your mouth."

Loss of voice (1 point)
“But if you take away my voice,” said the little mermaid, “what is left for me?”

Slowly burning up (6 points)
A little warm at first . . . then hotter and hotter, until nothing will seem to cool our hero down.

A constant tick tock tick tock (1 point)
"That crocodile would have had me before this, but by a lucky chance it swallowed a clock which goes tick tick inside it, and so before it can reach me I hear the tick and bolt."

[One teammate must touch each card to take its effects. Please feel free to play this out in the Discussion area at your leisure (it's suggested that you do this AFTER submitting your cards for the round). If you're not sure how an effect is supposed to work, please comment here and we'll answer you ASAP! If nobody chooses a card by the end of the round, please note this in the Decision, as all teammates will take that punishment at the beginning of the round upcoming.]
