[ When you wake up, you find yourself in a … courtyard? Anyone who’s ever went to high school will be able to tell that’s what it is -- for everyone else, it’s only a rather huge and vast courtyard, with several big buildings scattered around. The sky above you is clear and the sun pleasantly warm, and even though you can hear and feel the wind on your skin, it’s not so strong as to feel chilly. It’s a beautiful place.
Although the school seems to be filled with people walking around, none of them looks particularly distinguishable (and some of these may even look identical to each other), and none of them seems to notice your presence or try engage with you in any way.
Somewhere in the distance, you can hear various loud noises -- something like squeals and and laughter -- but you can’t quite make out what it is from where you are.
There are two buildings in the more-or-less-immediate vicinity, the white one on your left, and the orange-ish one you can see straight ahead in the distance. Or you could keep exploring the courtyard! The voices you heard earlier, for example, come from the path on your right.
From where you are, you can also see the school gates -- they’re open, so you could probably also leave school grounds if you wanted.]
[ Outside the school gates everything is much quieter. Ironically, it’s so quiet that you can hear the sound of the wind blowing more strongly than ever before. It’s just wind, and yet being able to hear it so clearly at all leaves you feeling a mix of nostalgic and sad, and somehow, it feels like something is missing.
Up above you the sky isn’t so clear anymore -- the beautiful blue from before is replaced by an almost oppressive gray, and overall the picture out there is way more melancholic than it was inside.
Where there were people everywhere before, there doesn’t seem to be anyone else but you in here. It feels lonely. ]
[ As you follow the path of squealing voices you can hear them a little more clearly, and perhaps they register to you as particularly annoying. It’s unmistakably girls going on about someone being “really hot” and various “is it really him? he’s a model, isn’t he?!”. But although you can hear the girls just fine, when you actually reach the source of the voices their outlines appear to be incredibly blurry.
Despite that and how hard it is to make out their exact figure, all of them are standing in a line -- at the end of which you can see a familiar figure: Kise’s, busy handing out autographs. His smile is bright and charming, but if you know him well, it’s also very obvious just how fake it is -- in fact, he seems a little annoyed. ]
”Kise-kun, I want to take a parting photo with you…!” “Okay, I get it … one by one…!”
[ Right across the street you can see what’s clearly another school building, but it looks abandoned and run down. The gates leading up to it are open, but on the other hand … it really looks like no one has been there in years. The plate on the school gates read “Teikou Junior High”.
A little further down the street you can spot what looks like a modern-style building -- but that’s obviously abandoned, too, and the entrance to it is blocked by a ton of “KEEP OUT” tape. ]

[ inside the white building it's obviously the ... well, actual school building! When you go inside, you see the familiar sight of the lockers lined up, and one in particular seem to have all sort of letters taped right onto it... ]
[ As you approach the orange building, you might be able to tell it's a gym! You can hear a lot of noise from the people that are obviously training in there, there's the squeaking of shoes, people shouting and yelling -- but it's all in good spirit.
Just being near the building actually puts you in a fairly good mood! The doors to it are, of course, open ]
[ As you approach the place, there’s a sense of uneasiness that pervades you. You get the feeling that this is not a place you want to be in, that it’s not a place you should be in, but that you need to see it anyway. The fear is almost paralyzing and yet you know you still have to move forward.
