CITRINE.

[The inside of the tent is spacious, but spare. In the center of the hard-packed dirt floor, as promised, there is a heavy oaken trapdoor with an iron ring set into it.

Apart from that, there is nothing.]

I don't know...

Yeah. But knowing that... doesn't that make the answer too easy?

We can if it means protecting your teammates. None of what we saw is probably real.

It does seem tricky...

Maybe we should be cautious.

It may not be... the thought of all those personae falling after that battle seems a bit unreasonable. Despite that, I think even if it isn't real, the persona will really destroy the things we leave behind.

I don't trust it. The first time... only one person should go out. If something happens then we'll know it's not safe to go out there.

We can't leave them.

What else do you want to save, from the cabin or otherwise?

I don't think so. The Persona need us. And usually people who aren't in the game aren't affected. Right now, the people most in trouble are playing the game.

Even so-- real or not, games are won or lost by the choices we make.

And so, I suppose we'd need to weight what seems like a more powerful choice -- to declare that even in hypothetical you would risk yourself for your friends, or to refuse, putting the power of your choice instead into not letting yourself be spurred to potentially useless action.

It's an interesting position he has put us in.
