[You find yourselves surrounded by mud walls and a ceiling, the grass of the clearing still dense under your feet. The room is well-lit by the usual lights that litter Aather during the night. There is a small pool of water in one corner and a piece of paper stuck to one of the walls]

The rules of this game are very simple. You will be offered a task, either to perform yourself or to force another team to perform. You may choose to accept the task or to retire from the game. The teams who accept the most tasks will receive memories as well as the knowledge that they have given more power to revive our world

Be warned that retiring from the game means that you will be more likely to be forced to perform a task by another team than if you had not chosen to quit.

And do try to decide quickly. There will be consequences for lingering.

[Sea snakes emerge from the pool long enough to deposit a piece of string on the ground before disappearing back into the water. As they do so, the Sea Witch's voice emanates from the pool and echoes around the room] Your task is for one of you to tie this as tightly around your finger as you can, and leave it for thirty seconds. When you are done, I will give you your next task. If you want to leave the game now, the decision must be unanimous. If you all agree then place your hands into the pool and speak your decision together.
