You get the sense that you pass through a door, but it shuts immediately behind you. However, when you look back, there is nothing but a dead end wall behind you. There is carpet is lush beneath your feet, and the corners are free of dust. Except for the lack of any actual entrance, it could easily be the entranceway of a lavish mansion.

Any magical or otherwise supernatural abilities you have are disabled.

The large door doesn't appear to have a lock, and it swings open a few inches when you try it, tearing the duct tape seal.

However, it is then stopped by a chain lock on the other side.

Our Game Master is Erika, though that might not come as much of a surprise. Time is progressing and has progressed since we first entered. All events henceforth will happen in sequence. The duct tape seals on the doors in the hallway are intact. ...What have you found?

At any point if you want to come back to the dining room and talk to Erika, she is there.

DINING ROOM

As you enter the dining room and look around, you notice Erika, who is sitting at the head of the table on your right. She meets your eyes with a slight smile but doesn't rise from her seat.

To your left, there's an open doorway to what appears to be a kitchen. Beyond the dining table is a very large door. It also appears to have a strip of duct tape on it, but it's torn now.

The table has place settings of cloth napkins and fine china, but the only utensils laid out appear to be chopsticks...

Not much. The kitchen's mostly empty. I didn't take a proper look at the unsealed room yet, but I think I saw keys in there, probably for the other doors.
