✩ Amethyst

Each team finds themselves in . . . what appears to be a space trying desperately to imitate, perhaps, someone's grandmother's overly-cluttered attic. At the very least, there are things everywhere, perched precariously on shelves and ledges, on tables, under tables, tables on tables, cupboards, closets . . .

There is an elaborate gramophone on one of the tables that begins to play with slow, winding crackle of static:

"There's a lot to making things, you know? A lot of components, a lot of pieces, a lot of parts . . . I'm sure you know that! It would be impossible not to. After all, humans themselves are made of a lot of parts! I'll bet if we took you apart you'd be stunned at how many parts there really are, you know, parts that are soft and squishy and parts that are hard and parts that were hurt as a child and parts that yearn for the future . . . well. We're not going to! If we took you apart there'd be nobody left to play the game. But! I wonder what parts you'd show if we were to take you apart just a little . . . ah. Or, just—what parts you'd show if we asked. What will you show? And I suppose, after all, you're each a part of a part of something else, and you'll have to work with what you have . . . but! Maybe that's part of the game. Hmmm . . . parts that are safe to show and parts that aren't—opening up your ribcage to show your heart, now, that would be something! I really think that would be something. But—it's up to you."

Instructions!

In the room, you'll find . . .

✩ tables, chairs, and various furniture
✩ a wardrobe full of costumes & clothing (dresses! monocles! fluffy bunny hats!)

Something we are comfortable doing only with Amethyst. . .?

[frowns] That's... extremely vague.
vitalsarecritical: (per... so... na????)

[matches her frown, brows furrowed]

Exceedingly so.

I mean... We could talk about embarrassing or secret things. Or... write horribly sappy poetry to each other. But does that actually comprise "doing" something? Ugh.
vitalsarecritical: (caduceus.... japan???)

Re: Discussion

I assume it does. Since the instructions are so vague, we must have free reign to do whatever it is we please.

...Doing is doing, apparently. Okay. Uh...

[still. wtf do they DO?]

You have any ideas?
vitalsarecritical: (looking off distantly)

[runs her hand over the secrets box and the memory spheres]

Well, to be frank, I wouldn't feel comfortable sharing my memories or my secrets with anyone off of the team.

That's far too vague of a topic.

Of course. It gives us free reign, but it also doesn't guide us very well.

Does anything come to mind?

[ponders] I've a friend I'd share them with, but... He might as well be my teammate as far as I'm concerned. Do you think that would nullify the idea?
vitalsarecritical: (paging dr. stiles)

Re: Discussion

[personal profile] vitalsarecritical 2012-12-14 02:44 am (UTC)(link)
Only secrets and memories. I don't take memories with anyone but Amethyst, and I wouldn't have it any other way.

But that is myself, personally.
vitalsarecritical: (why hello there)

Re: Discussion

[personal profile] vitalsarecritical 2012-12-14 02:45 am (UTC)(link)
I don't think so. We also don't win memories with anyone but Amethyst.

Re: Discussion

[personal profile] balancetheblood 2012-12-14 02:50 am (UTC)(link)
I'd PREFER to only really embarrass myself with... singing or acting ridiculous in front of Amethyst, but it's not something I'd do willingly either way, and I've already done that in front of other teams before. [Oh, that musical. :|] So that's out.
artificialcommand: (Smile on your face)

Re: Discussion

[personal profile] artificialcommand 2012-12-14 02:52 am (UTC)(link)
That might be the norm for the other teams as well.

Ah. . . I'd rather get out of this with our dignity in tact, yes.
vitalsarecritical: (what was that?)

Re: Discussion

[personal profile] vitalsarecritical 2012-12-14 02:55 am (UTC)(link)
Quite true. I'm not certain what else there is, though.

. . . except for potentially embarrassing things, but I think we can all agree those are ruled out.
artificialcommand: (We play pretend)

Re: Discussion

[personal profile] artificialcommand 2012-12-14 02:58 am (UTC)(link)
Embarrassing doesn't sound appealing.Sharing memories just isn't something I do with anyone...
vitalsarecritical: (welcome to caduceus how may I help you)

It sounds like memory sharing may be our only choice, then. I'm certainly not opposed to it.
