Once you reach the center of the maze, the carpet ends to reveal a set of three large pillars surrounding another television with a remote on top of above it. However, instead of marble these pillars seem to be made out of clockwork similar to what you saw in the first area—but with springs and levers and buttons and various doodads that you can clearly touch.
