Let's try the bushes. They sound more like somewhere a "brat" would be interested than this tetanus-inducing excuse for a forest.

[ it's about a foot deep, and if you push the branches aside you can get through with minimal scratching and branch breaking.

On the other side is another grassy field with another box. Except the grass is white, the trees are white, the babbling brook is violet . . . the box is black and a green light comes out of the slits in the sides :|a?]

[ a sort of crystal ring sounds out and the bright egg dims a little and the dimmer egg brightens a little. Neither should be painful to look at... ]
