[ If you hadn’t seen Dream standing over Wako before, you’d know you were in a dream now: the doorway of this fancy house has opened not into a foyer, but into a kitchen. As suits the fancy house, it is a very fancy kitchen, though. There’s a checkerboard floor, white countertops and walls, big windows opening to the sea, rows of wooden cupboards. One of the burners on the range is on, with a large pot sitting on top of it, and the oven is set to 350F, with a pan sitting on top of it. A wide array of cooking implements are spread out on the countertops, and three cups, plates, and sets of utensils and napkins are stacked neatly in a corner. There are post-it notes on a far cabinet, the fridge, and the door of the oven.
