[You are outside a featureless house. There is nothing notable about the outside of it at all except its red door, which is before you. It is wide open.]
[You find yourself in . . . what might have been a parlour. Or a living room. Or a sitting room. It's hard to tell, because whatever was here has since been burned to ash. Everything in the room is dilapidated and soggy. There was a chair there in the corner next to what might have been a corner table (with a candle?) on top. There is a burned out fireplace and something round hangs above it. In front of the fireplace is a couch, and a coffee table (?). Then there are several other burned. Shape. Things.
There are a pair of old people sat on the destroyed couch. Well -- dolls of old people, anyway. They are old, and look extremely realistic -- they look sad, but not devastated, sitting in the midst of the broken down room. Both of them have their eyes closed. Beside them on a small, half-burned table is a transistor radio, which is blackened by smoke but may still work.
It is clearly a parlour now. The carpet is wine red and lush. There is a velvet couch, a wooden chair, a mahogany coffee table, an oak corner table. The old people dolls have become much younger -- more like middle aged and far more vibrant looking. The radio looks ~new and shiny~. A fire roars to life in the fireplace.
EVERYTHING LOOKS NEW AND SHINY AND UNBURNED AND WUNNERFUL. ]
[You find yourself in a pool hall. Gosh, what a fucking good turn of fortune for you! Unless you're allergic to cigarette smoke as there is a good amount of it hanging in the air. There are six pool tables and over each pool table is a hanging light with a green shade. EVERYTHING HERE LOOKS TOTALLY LEGIT, HUH.
Except for the fact that the pool tables are totally trippy. When you peer into them you'll notice that the green felt appearance of them is actually a thin layer of algae. The tables also have clusters of colored lilypads on top of the algae -- and most likely there are also fish, but you'd have to take a closer look to look for those.
There is a minibar on the east side of the room. There are several bottles of alcohol lined up there, some taps for beer (and soda water if you're A TOOL!1) and also little bowls with peanuts for your snacking on. If you trust eating anything in the seedy pool hall with crazy algae tables.
On the west side of the room is a rack of pool cues set with triangles to arrange the pool balls and little cubes of blue chalk. A clock hangs above the rack.
[You find yourselves in an exceedingly pink bedroom. Oh my gosh, it's pink. It has a large king-sized bed, with a princess canopy overhead, with dozens of cushions and rose petals strewn about. There is a pink chaise longue in the corner, a large white wardrobe in the opposing corner, and a wide window with long, thick curtains that are, you guessed it, a darker shade of pink. There is a great oak mantel over a fireplace that has burned out. There is wood in it, but it has already burned once, the kind that is difficult to light. On the mantel, there is a golden carriage clock that reads midday, or midnight.
There is a doll of a young girl in a frilly dress, rendered to be so realistic it is almost uncanny, prostrate on the bed. Her face is buried in the pillow, and while you cannot see her expression, it's a realistic assumption that she is crying. Nestled at the end of her bed, there is a doll of a fluffy orange cat.
There are a variety of items strewn about the room, if you care to look for them. The only exit is a white door to the south.]

Or interesting objects, or a way to fix the damage, or who knows what else. I doubt the winning criteria are going to be anything sensible.
